Windows media player file not found

We couldn't find any photos, videos, or music in this folder. Same here. My XB1 sees my W8. Have placed files in all possible catalogues on my PC, hoping that XB1 would find something, but that didn't work.

I was working up until a few weeks ago and now nothing. Media Player sees my Windows 7 machine, but when you open it you get files not found. I've tried rebuilding the libraries and even reinstalling Media Player 12 but still nothing.

Windows Media player is in Windows Simply type in Media Player in the search box and you will see it. Right click and pin it to start or your taskbar. If you have an Mp3 yo want to play you can double click it and it should open WMP if not you can right click on the Mp3 and go to open with and pick Windows Media Player. Was this reply helpful?
